DETAILED DESCRIPTION An object of the present invention to provide an ethylene-.
alpha.
-olefin copolymer excellent in various properties such as mechanical strength, moldability, thermal stability, chemical stability, electrical properties, transparency, flexibility, and impact resistance.
The ethylene-.
alpha.
-olefin copolymer of the present invention exhibits, when used as a film, excellent transparency, impact strength, hot tack property, heat seal property, and anti-blocking property.
By laminating the film comprising the ethylene-.
alpha.
-olefin copolymer of the present invention with a resin film having gas-barrier property or heat resistance, a laminate suitable for wrapping films and containers, which is excellent in heat seal property and can be scarcely eluted with the content of the container.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an electrical insulating material which exhibits a high volume resistance and a small temperature dependence of volume resistance.
These and other objects of the present invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description and examples.
