DETAILED DESCRIPTION The primary object of the present invention is therefore to provide a color display device for a fish detection sonar capable of displaying in different colors various targets such as the surface and bottom of the sea and schools of fish detected to avoid the misinterpretation of the targets.
Briefly stated, according to the present invention, a plurality of display elements such as light-emitting diodes capable of emitting light in different colors when energized are mounted upon a rotary disk of the flasher type display device of the type described above and are energized or turned on independently or in combination depending upon the target intensity, the received signals being divided depending upon the target intensity, so that various targets such as the surface and bottom of the sea and detected schools of fish may be displayed in different colors.
