It is a further object of this invention to provide an improved power generator utilizing a capacitor construction formed of stacked plates with a rotating intermediate dielectric plate operating in a permanent magnetic field for producing and storing energy for subsequent use.
In accordance with a preferred embodiment of the invention, an electrical homopolar capacitor generator comprises a stack of various plates assembled on a common axis.
The stack of plates includes a first dielectric plate, a first electrically conductive plate, and intermediate dielectric plate, a second electrically conductive plate, and a second dielectric plate.
The intermediate dielectric plate is rotated relative to the remainder of the other plates; and a permanent magnet produces a magnetic field in the region in which all of the plates are located; so that electrical power may be obtained from conductors coupled to the first and second electrically conductive plates.
