A moderately conductive synthetic resin composition comprising a synthetic resin (A), a carbon precursor (B) and at least one conductive filler (C) selected from the group consisting of a non-fibrous conductive filler and a metallic fibrous material, both, having a volume resistivity lower than 10.sup.2 .OMEGA..multidot.cm, and a moderately conductive synthetic resin composition comprising a synthetic resin (A), a carbon precursor (B) and carbon fiber (E).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION What is claimed is: 1.
A synthetic resin composition comprising 40 to 98.

% of a synthetic resin (A), 1 to 40 wt.
% of a carbon precursor (B) having a volume resistivity of 10.

The synthetic resin composition according to claim 1, wherein the synthetic resin (A) is at least one selected from the group consisting of thermoplastic polyester, poly(arylene sulfides), polyolefins, polycarbonate, poly(ether ether ketone), polyacetal and fluorocarbon resins.

The synthetic resin composition according to claim 1, wherein the carbon precursor (B) is a calcined product obtained by calcining an organic substance in an inert atmosphere.

The synthetic resin composition according to claim 1, wherein the carbon precursor (B) is particles or fiber.

The synthetic resin composition according to claim 1, wherein the carbon precursor (B) has a carbon content of 80 to 97 wt.
%.

The synthetic resin composition according to claim 1, wherein the non-fibrous conductive filler (C) is at least one conductive carbon material selected from the group consisting of graphite and conductive carbon black.

The synthetic resin composition according to claim 1, wherein the volume resistivity of the synthetic resin composition is 10.
